8.1 Menu bar

The special thing about the SHOW workspace is that you can move image data around freely within it, like on a desktop. Images, samples or 3D views can be arranged next to one another, superimposed or in a collage, all at the same time.

Show collections

Select the "Kit" icon to access your collections and favourites and load your individual colours and materials into the workspace.
Open a manufacturer's collection and use the ColorPicker to click the desired surface for the show. Or select a set of favourites and load its contents into the show by clicking the sample image.

Open project

Click "Open project" to load image data from your own projects or INTERIOR/EXTERIOR samples the SHOW workspace (alternative: use "File">"Open" in the main navigation). Select the desired image in the dialogue window and click "Open" to confirm. You can also optionally import the colour and material data for an image.

 

Open show
Show öffnen
Click "Open show" to load an existing show project from your projects to the workspace (alternative: "File">"Open show" in the main navigation) or to clear the workspace. If you want to keep the show you have put together so far, save it in your own projects first.
 
Click "Open show" and select the desired show project from the list of projects in the window that opens. Click "Open" to confirm. You can also open a show by double-clicking it in EXPLORER.
 
Note: Image data that is greyed out cannot be loaded in SHOW.
 
"Clear workspace" clears the show workspace of the composition you have made so far.

 

Save show
Show speichern
To save the current composition in your workspace, click the "Save" button. In the dialogue window that opens, you can give your show project a name and save it in the desired project folder or create a new project folder for it.

 

Print
Drucken
Click the "Print" button to print the current arrangement of your SHOW workspace as a PDF. All colours, materials and image data are sorted adjacently and output on one or more DIN A4 sheets.

 

Zoom in/zoom out

To zoom an individual image, colour or material data in or out, first click the required object (the active object is marked by an "X" at the top right-hand corner) and then move the mouse wheel over the object to zoom in/out, or click the respective "Magnifying glass" icon.

 

Full screen
Vollbild
Full screen mode allows you to show the current arrangement of your composition as a full screen. Menu bar, tab etc. are hidden for this purpose. Click the "Close" button to return to the workspace.

 

Help
Hilfe
The "Display help" button displays the online version of the SPECTRUM 5 user manual (active Internet connection required).
Alternatively, you can also choose "Help"/"Online help". The shortcut command for the help function is "F1".

 

Display/mask out object list

You can display and mask out the list by clicking the "Display objects" button.
All images and samples are listed in the object list.
Here, you have the possibility of deleting objects, changing the sequence and making settings for the DiaShow.
